Reliant Energy chooses KPMG

Houston-based electricity and energy provider Reliant Energy has replaced
Deloitte & Touche with KPMG as its auditor

The change was announced in a filing made to the Securities & Exchange

not based on any disagreement with Deloitte.

Shares in Reliant were down 7 cents to $9.92 at the close of trading on
Tuesday.
