Darroch gets Sky package of almost £2m

BSkyB's chief exec is rewarded with a £1.9m payday after stepping up to the CEO position from CFO, but will be in line for even bigger wages next year
Jeremy Darroch, the CEO of BSkyB was paid almost £2m this year, the company
has disclosed.
Including pension, bonus and benefits – Darroch made £1,962,050,
BSkyB
said in its annual report.
Darroch was only appointed CEO in December,the middle of the company year,
which suggests that his pay packet for 2008-2009 will be even bigger.
