Coombe joins Hogg Robinson

Former Glaxo CFO to chair corporate services company

John Coombe, the former chief financial officer of GlaxoSmithKline has been
appointed as the new chairman of Hogg Robinson, the international corporate
services company.

Coombe, who is also a chartered accountant, takes over from Neville Bain on 1
April.

Coombe is one of the most respected finance directors in the UK having been
CFO at Glaxo for 13 years before retiring on 31 March last year.

He currently holds a number of senior board positions including non-executive
directorships at HSBC and GUS. He also sits on the supervisory board of Siemens
and is a member of the Code Committee of the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers.

Following his appointment, Hogg Robinson CEO David Radcliffe said he was
looking forward to working with Coombe.
