Robson Rhodes in talks to acquire Numerica

Robson Rhodes is in exploratory talks to buy Numerica after discussions with BDO Stoy Hayward fell apart, Accountancy Age has learned.

In a statement released to the stock exchange this morning Numerica announced talks with BDO had ceased.

Sources told Accountancy Age that Robson Rhodes was a party currently holding talks to acquire Numerica, but discussions are thought to be at an early stage.

p> A spokesperson from Robson Rhodes declined to comment today.

A Numerica statement issued this morning said: ‘The company announces that, since 10 November 2003, it has received an approach from another party which may or may not lead to an offer for the company.’
