– Exchequer Software is launching a COM-based (Component Object Model) SDK (Software Developers Kit) for its Enterprise solution at the National Accountancy Exhibition on 15 May. – Shuttleworth Business Systems, the biggest Pegasus Mpower dealer, has moved to Access Accounting – in order to convert all Mpower sites to Access Dimensions. Shuttleworth joint managing director, Paul Deane, explained: ‘We took a major review of all accounting systems in our market place and selected Access Accounts – the move gives us new opportunities in our market.’ Access has now signed up 10 Pegasus dealers including Francis Clark Accounting Solutions. – IRIS’s first Application Software Provider solution – IRIS eCash – will aim to enable accountants to offer a personalised cash-book accounting service to its clients over the internet. With the move, Transaction Technology has become the first accountancy software provider to introduce an ASP application that accountants can offer to their clients and that, in turn, plugs directly into an accountant’s accounts production software. – CODA has announced that it has extended its partnership with Cincom Systems, a provider of enterprise software for manufacturers. Under the agreement, CODA’s web-based financial solutions will provide the financial backbone for Cincom’s internet-based ERP suite, CONTROL:2001. UK SMEs can now take advantage of online access to financial services following partnership deals secured by e-procurement website eZoka. Norwich Union HealthCare, Woolwich Independent Financial Services, Sedgewick Independent Financial Consultants and Millfield are now offering online financial advice services as part of the eZoka offering to small businesses. Members of eZoka can now arrange group pensions, company insurance and life assurance. They can also access financial planning and credit evaluation services.
