QSP, the e-finance solution provider, has unveiled what it claims is the first web-based finance package for district councils
The out-of-the-box Application Service Provision {ASP} solution, which will cost from £12,000, aims to help deliver Best Value.
The company revealed it has launched the product following research which showed district councils aspired to use local authority-style financial systems but couldn?t afford to implement them.
The web-based solution has a 45 day deployment guarantee and automatically integrates with HR as part of the package. It is understood the City of Liverpool and the London Borough of Camden have taken on this solution.
Mike Hudgell QSP spokesman said: ‘This ASP service will allow district councils to rely on an absolute managed cash flow without any capital expenditure. The service includes software hardware services and support. The company also revealed that it is planning to release 2 or 3 new versions of the ASP solution.’
