Chief exec of RSM's international network reports that the global business is on the hunt for a firm to fill the void created by Robson Rhodes' defection
RSM International is eyeing up a
replacement for its UK operations after RSM
Robson Rhodes announced its intention to join forces with
Grant Thornton.
Robson Rhodes had announced its intention at the end of last year to merge
with US powerhouses RSM McGladrey but the deal stalled after prolonged
operational and strategic problems.
RSM international’s chief exec Jean Stephens said: ‘Following Robson Rhodes
and Grant Thornton’s announcement on their intent to merge their UK operations,
Robson Rhodes will become part of Grant Thornton International. It is important,
of course, for the RSM International network to have very strong firm in the UK
and we are currently exploring options to fulfil needs.’
The merger of Robson Rhodes and Grant Thornton is set to be complete by 1
July.
