Or why not just sod it and have a real war? I’m sick and tired of people running this country down: why can’t we get back to extolling those traditional skills we’ve always excelled in. Like killing people. Ministry of Defence consultants are doing a thriving trade exporting British military practice to other countries who’ve traditionally been a bit slow at the old slaughter trade. France, Poland and the Ukraine have already signed up, and the Hungarians are now the latest beneficiaries. Expect a sharp improvement in the quality of wars, particularly if Britain is ganged up on by an unholy alliance of French, Poles, Ukrainians and Magyars.
