JOINING THE IMC – HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

JOINING THE IMC - HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

The process of becoming a Full Member is quite rigorous and it needs to be if we are to guarantee your competence and knowledge to clients.

You need a degree or equivalent professional qualification and five years’ full-time management consultancy experience – unless you are a member of an IMC Recognised Training Practice, in which case you need three. The following companies are Recognised Training Practices: Coopers & Lybrand, IBM, BDO Stoy Hayward, Collinson Grant, Hay Management Consultants, Morton Hodson, PA Consulting, Price Waterhouse and Towers Perrin.

You will need to submit an application and describe five client assignments.

We will take up references and call you for interview. All of this is explained in detail in our membership leaflet. If you have less than five years’ experience you can join as an associate member and obtain the AMIMC designation or as an affiliate member and still receive a range of benefits.

For your free membership pack please contact the IMC administrative assistant, quoting reference CMC 96.
