The requirement to provide evidence of continuing professional development will become a reality for all accountants in the next year or so.
Some accountancy institutes are mandating CPD for their members from 1 January – some members of other institutes can, depending on their experience, wait until 2007 to provide evidence of their ongoing professional education.
