Taking Stock: Honest branding for HMRC?
Everyone seems to be having fun with branding, and TS is on board with
EVERY NOW AND THEN, TS is invited to a book launch.
They’re good fun, and it’s a good chance to meet the good people of the profession. It was at just such a shindig that TS found itself last night for the launch of BDO partner Daniel Dover’s HMRC Her Majesty’s Roller Coaster – hints on how to survive a tax investigation, surely in line for a Man Booker Prize next year.
But amid the chatter, wine and canapés, TS was struck by one thing – unilateral rebrand of HMRC by Dover during his speech, during which he revealed the above T-shirt.
HMRC – We’ve got what it takes to take what you’ve got
TS likes it. It’s snappy.
As yet, though, we’re not sure it has Lin Homer’s backing.
