ANDY HALFORD, the chief financial officer of Vodafone and new chairman of the Hundred Group, wants to raise the profile of the reclusive lobbyists which represent FTSE 100 companies.
Given that the group’s public profile is pretty much non-existent, achieving this aim shouldn’t be too much of a stretch, but Halford has at least dragged its website into the 21st century. The old website (old information and no-frills design) looked like it had been designed on a ZX Spectrum computer.
We look forward to the Hundred Group team now populating the newly tarted-up site with some meaningful information. TS was not surprised to find the group’s Wikipedia entry came with a “this article needs additional citations for verification” warning. We hope the same won’t be said about the Hundred Group’s statements in future.
