Pals make Fergie pay
DUCHES OF YORK? Duchess of Debt more like, following the latest revelations in the Daily Mail.
Skint Fergie is attempting to avoid entering insolvency by allegedly offering creditors, owed more than £600,000, with 25p in the pound.
The offer was made in alleged emails and letters on behalf of PwC, who said that failure to gain agreement among all creditors would see the firm propose an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) for Fergie.
Apparently alleged creditors – including high-profile lawyers Daveport Lyons and Selfridges – agreed the deal, and it was a couple of her close friends who have challenged the proposal, which could see formal insolvency loom.
Never mix friends and money, that’s what TS always alleges.
