PricewaterhouseCoopers appoints Tony Parton to lead its forensic practice for emerging markets.
PricewaterhouseCoopers appoints Tony Parton to lead its forensic practice for emerging markets.
The appointment follows that of Andrew Palmer, who became Head of the
Forensics Practice in the UK in July, and Andrew Gordon, appointed overall Head
of Investigations in the UK recently.
Tony Parton returns to the UK from Hong Kong, where he has led the firm’s
investigations and Forensic Services business in the Asia Pacific region for the
past four years, invoved in investigations of corruption and bribery
allegations, such as those investigated under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act,
asset misappropriation and financial misrepresentation.
Parton said he was delighted: ‘More than ever, it is important that companies
have the adequate measures in place to detect, prevent and react quickly to any
kind of fraudulent misconduct, particularly those that have, or are
contemplating, investment in the emerging markets.’
