Damian Wisniewski is joining
London, a REIT focused on London’ West End, as FD.
Wisniewski, who was previously FD at
Asset Management, takes on Chris Odom’s role at the business.
Odom has served as FD of DL for 22 years. He retires on 1 February 2010, but
will continue as an employee until May’s AGM and ensure a smooth handover.
“Damian’s considerable experience of the sector and proven operational focus
will help ensure Derwent London continues its track record of delivering
superior shareholder value across the cycle,” said chairman Robert Rayne.
He also praised Odom’s “huge” contribution to the group.
“Chris’ insight and sound commercial sense have been instrumental in
transforming Derwent London from a relatively small property company into the
largest central London focussed Real Estate Investment Trust.”
Wisniewski has held several senior positions. He served as COO of the Wood
Wharf Limited Partnership between 2005 and 2008, after spending 13 years at
Chelsfield initially as head of finance and then group FD.
