HaysMac taps Per-Olof Ahlstrom to lead Risk Advisory Services

HaysMac has announced the appointment of Per-Olof Ahlstrom as Acting Head of Risk Assurance and Advisory Services, strengthening its risk advisory leadership.

Ahlstrom brings over 25 years of experience in senior roles across both industry and professional services, having most recently spent a decade at PwC UK.

The appointment comes at a time when organisations are increasingly confronted with complex risks, including the challenges posed by AI, cloud technologies, digital transformation, geopolitical uncertainties, and evolving supply chain and security risks.

Ahlstrom’s experience working with a wide range of UK and international companies positions him well to guide HaysMac’s clients through these challenges.

Ahlstrom’s appointment also aligns with HaysMac’s ongoing focus on sectors such as Equity Capital Markets, Hospitality, Media, Marketing & Advertising, Technology, FinTech, and Retail & eCommerce.

His expertise in scaling businesses, as well as his understanding of internal controls and governance, will be key in supporting clients as they navigate the complexities of growing their operations.

The announcement of Ahlstrom’s appointment follows a leadership refresh within HaysMac’s Social Purpose sector and Education group after the firm’s rebrand in November 2024.
