Forvis Mazars UK reports 15th consecutive year of growth

Forvis Mazars has posted its fifteenth consecutive year of growth in the UK, reporting revenue of £362.4m for the year ending 31 August 2024—a rise of 8.3% year-on-year.

The results, shared in a company update this week, mark the firm’s first annual figures since forming the global Forvis Mazars network in June 2024. Growth was recorded across service lines, with audit services up 15.1% and sustainability services rising by 45.4%.

“Despite a challenging market and economic headwinds over the past year, we’ve achieved sustainable growth in revenue, profitability and headcount,” said James Gilbey, CEO of Forvis Mazars in the UK.

“I’m particularly proud of the strong growth in audit, reflecting both the shifting dynamics in the top end of the audit market and our investment in competing to win in key audit sectors; building expertise and systems to deliver quality for our clients.”

Other areas of the business also saw steady growth, including private client services (7.9%), tax (3.4%), and advisory and consulting (2.1%).

The UK headcount rose 6% to 3,469, with 374 early career joiners—204 graduates and 86 school leavers—joining the firm in FY24. The number of partners grew to 186, with 30.5% of the partnership now female. Internally, 524 team members were promoted.

The firm has also ramped up its technology investments, launching new data analytics solutions across its audit and advisory arms and developing AI tools in tax and financial planning.

In line with its quality agenda, Forvis Mazars said it had made further investments in internal quality teams and into its global audit platform.

The firm also reiterated its focus on social mobility and education, announcing the formation of the Forvis Mazars Foundation, which replaces the long-standing Mazars Charitable Trust.

Through its partnership with IntoUniversity, the firm has continued to support disadvantaged young people with workshops and funding.

“Providing young people from all backgrounds with opportunities to achieve their potential is incredibly important to us, and we are excited to make an even greater impact in the years ahead,” said Gilbey.

The results cap a year of transition and expansion for the firm, which is now part of one of the largest international professional services networks following the creation of Forvis Mazars.
