(September 5) Accounting network Moore Global has announced that it will partner with Dayshape, a provider of AI-powered resource management for professional services firms. Describing the move as an “elite strategic partnership”, Moore Global CEO, Anton Collela, said that the increased capabilities will deliver value for the network’s firms and their clients alike.
“We strongly believe that investment in the right technology can provide a healthier work-life balance, deliver better quality work for our clients, and improve the bottom line of our member firms,” he said.
(September 8) Accounting tech provider Sage has announced a partnership with global payments technology provider, Square. Now live in the UK and Ireland, the partnership will allow small business’ payment transactions to be synced into the Sage Accounting platform daily, allowing their accountants to easily view and access the data.
“Our sellers are continuously finding new and more efficient ways of working that prioritise expertise, implementing technology, and setting their business apart in an increasingly competitive landscape,” said Jason Lalor, executive director at Square Europe. “We’re excited to see how this partnership with Sage strengthens SMB growth.”
(September 8) Accounting and tax sofware provider Coconut has released a new ‘Income Streams’ functionality that will help accountants prepare clients with multiple sources of self-employment and property income. The firm has said that the feature was bult with the looming MTD ITSA requirements in mind.
“Sole traders and unincorporated landlords need a tool that’s simple to use to bring them into the digital realm,” said Coconut CEO Sam O’Connor. “But these individuals also have unique accounting challenges of their own, such as needing an easy way to unpick transactions from different income sources across a mixture of personal and business bank accounts.”
(September 26) Global technology platform Intuit has announced the launch of QuickBooks Online Advanced in the UK. The solution will seek to address the complexity of bookeeping operations by offering features such as customised reports, sensitive data controls and data restoration.
“An accountant can help small business owners to streamline their finances and improve their back-office processes, and allow them to refocus on running the business itself,” said Nick Williams, UK product director at Intuit QuickBooks.
“By expanding and developing new features in QB Advanced, we’re proud to be able to continue backing these accounting professionals to keep supporting the small business community.”
