On March 19, Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting UK announced that their CCH Audit Automation software is now fully integrated into the CCH Central Suite and can now utilise the power of the company’s Open Integration solution.
Alongside this, live trial balance data from a client’s cloud bookkeeping package can be used to populate relevant areas of the working papers file, supporting both audit and non-audit engagements.
As Open Integration is a two-way synchronisation, adjusting journals can also be sent back to the underlying bookkeeping system without manual intervention by the client or their bookkeeper.
Meanwhile on March 30, audit tech vendor Engine B will be showcasing its Audit Common Data Model and Knowledge Graphs at a live event.
Engine B will explain how updates to the two solutions work together to provide audit firms of all sizes with one source of client data that can be used to improve audit quality, speed up the audit process, uncover hidden risks and make faster, more intelligent context-driven decisions.
