AA Transform: IR35, surviving in a new decade, and exceeding client needs

The latest in our successful event series, AA Transform will look in-depth at the impending IR35 rules, while helping accountants navigate the uncertainty of digital transformation to increase productivity.

The event will be held on March 12 in central London at Glaziers Hall [map] and will run from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

We’ll be discussing the potential of digital tools such as AI, machine learning, robotics, and big data – and how the latest technological developments can help with compliance requirements.

“This event series comes at a point when many accountants are on the brink of undertaking large-scale digital transformation projects and as such are hungry to better understand the technological landscape,” said Elliot Thomas, the Finance Portfolio Director.

“This event will provide the opportunity for them to explore and understand how to revolutionise their business.”

Panel discussions at the event include:

  • IR35: How to survive the changes and continue to add value to clients after April 2020
Speakers: James Poyser, Richard Hepburn, Steve Talbot
  • Accountancy in 2020: How to survive and thrive in a new decade
Speakers: Gedalia Waldman, Hazel Tucker, Ian Brown, Kath Docherty
  • Your digital route to exceeding client needs in a new decade
Speakers: Fraser Nicol, Michael Tripp, Stuart Hurst

Roundtables offer an additional opportunity for participants to network and debate around the topics of IR35, uncertainty amongst digital transformation, and nurturing client relationships.

“We have identified the need for our senior accounting audience to be able to understand how and which technology will revolutionise their business within the framework of key topics.” Thomas added. “The first event in the series will explore how embracing key technologies will help accountants to identify changing client needs and improve profitability.
