The British Accountancy Awards shortlist has been announced today with MHA MacIntyre Hudson and KPMG currently out in front of a crowded field with four nominations.
MHA MacIntyre Hudson have been nominated for Audit Team of the Year, Tax Team of the Year, Graduate and Non-Graduate Program of the Year and National Firm of the Year.
Of the Big Four, KPMG lead the nominations. They are nominated for International Firm of the Year, Graduate and Non-Graduate Program of the Year and Large Firm Innovation of the Year. In addition, Hannah Wroblewski, assistant manager – audit innovations product owner at KPMG, has been nominated for Rising Star of the Year.
RPG Crouch Chapman LLP follow close behind the leaders with three nominations. They are nominated for Mid-Tier Firm of the Year, Audit Team of the Year and Tax Team of the Year.
BAA also announced that comedian Sean Lock would be hosting the awards. Lock has appeared on a number of TV comedy shows but is best known for his role as team captain on Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 cats.
