UHY Hacker Young adds new ex-Deloitte partner to Nottingham office

UHY Hacker Young has appointed Andrew Timms as partner in its Nottingham office

Andrew has more than 20 years of audit experience and joins from business advisory firm PKF Cooper Parry, where he spent over 11 years as a partner. He previously spent seven years at Big Four firm Deloitte.

More recently, Andrew has focused on advising owner-managed and international businesses and built a portfolio of 55 clients, bringing in a total of £2.3m in annual fees across all service lines. Andrew’s clients spanned many sectors, including healthcare, renewables and engineering.

Andrew also has experience advising the families behind businesses on the passing down of generational wealth as well as business transfers.

Owner-managed businesses

At UHY Hacker Young, Andrew will be looking to help strengthen the audit and business advisory practice, with a particular focus on owner-managed businesses.

Andrew plays an active role in the local community, sitting as Chairman of the Nottingham Park Estate and committee member of the Nottingham Contemporary Museum.
