Accountancy firm Saffery Champness has accounced that Julie Berry is to be their new IT partner.

When she took up her new role she became responsible for the firm’s technology needs, both in the UK and overseas.

Berry has accumulated over 25 years of experience in her field. This includes areas such as IT, service delivery, and general and strategic management.

Matthew Burton, managing partner at Saffery Champness, said: “Underpinning our long-term vision and plans for the firm is a deep appreciation of how technological advances are impacting our clients and their businesses and how we can use technology to best serve their needs.

“We will always need to ensure we are aligned with the changing landscape, and that is why we felt it imperative to have someone at partner level who is empowered to drive the technology agenda. Julie’s experience, expertise and energy are a perfect fit for Saffery Champness and we are delighted to welcome her on board.”

The top 20 accountancy firm will be welcoming Berry as their IT Partner. As a full time member of the firm, she will be in a leading role that focuses on the implementation of Saffery Champness’ technology and IT strategy.

Berry stated: “I am very excited to be joining Saffery Champness, a firm which has such strong heritage and values, but which is highly cognisant of, and proactive towards, the rapid changes that technology is having right across the professional services.

“I’m very much looking forward to working with everyone at the firm as we seek to maximise the opportunities that technological advancements bring.”
