Mazars has recently announced five new partners in the firm, each covering a variety of sectors.
A statement released by the Top Ten firm stated: “The appointments reflect the firm’s ongoing investment in its core strategic markets including financial services, large and listed companies, public services and entrepreneurial businesses.”
Jon Marchant: Audit
In Mazars’ audit team, Jon Marchant has been instrumental to the firm’s rapid growth in the southwest, having been based in Bristol. Now, as one of the five new partners, his influence in the southwest can now spread throughout the rest of the firm.
Alex Baskeyfield: Corporate Finance
Alex Baskeyfield has been with Mazars since 2005, starting out as an audit trainee before moving up into the corporate finance team in 2008 in Leeds. Before being promoting to one of Mazars’ partners, he was been responsible for consistently securing deals across a range of sectors for the firm.
Natasha Ryan: Tax
In the tax sector, Natasha Ryan has been working for Mazars in the Birmingham office since 2016. Her focus has been on the development and growth of the firm’s tax advisory services for entrepreneurial businesses, SMEs, and private clients.
Matt Stark: Outsourcing
From the world of outsourcing, Matt Stark will now be driving growth in the likes of technology transformation and clientele. He has previously been focused on developing the firm’s payroll – something he will continue to do as well as taking on the additional responsibility of a partner.
Chris Drewe: Forensic and Investigation Services
Chris Drewe joined Mazars as an audit trainee in the Midlands back in 2005. Since 2009, he has been working for their forensic and investigation services. Drewe has a wide range of expertise knowledge, so it is no surprise that he has been announced as one of the five newly appointed partners.
