The finance team at CMS won a British Accountancy Award in 2017 for in-house finance transformation of the year for their work on the merger combining CMS Cameron McKenna with Nabarro and Olswang. The firm has had a lot of successful wins in the legal sector and the BAA allowed the finance team to share in this success and celebrate their work.
Following the big strategic initiative of last year, for the finance team at CMS, the next step is to help the firm to grow in the face of economic challenges, navigate through Brexit and bring the latest technology to the firm and its leadership.
Focus areas for this year are to fine tune the business and ensure it works well as a combined business of three different law firms.
