Top 20 firm MHA MacIntyre Hudson has announced the appointment a new partner to lead its technology advisory services practice – a newly created practice within the firm.
Gavin Davis has joined the firm from BDO where he was responsible for the technology consultancy team. He has more than 35 years of experience as a consultant and business owner, and has previously held roles at Fujitsu Services, Dell, Ricoh and Atos.
Managing partner and group chairman at MHA MacIntyre Hudson Rakesh Shaunak said: “We’re very pleased to have Gavin join us and launch our technology advisory services specialism. This is an opportunity for us to bring together our technology expertise to advise clients on all aspects of technology, systems and application packages so that they can maximise the benefits for their business.”
The technology advisory practice will offer a range of services, including IT review, strategic IT advice, outsourced IT director services. The firm said that the services would be of particular value to the “quasi IT director”, such as “the finance director of a mid-market company who finds themselves responsible for the IT systems”.
Jason Mitchell, partner at the firm’s Reading office, added: “We’re finding more and more clients require support for their technology needs at a strategic level in addition to more routine guidance over their systems and processes. Gavin is a great addition to the firm to service this need.”
MHA MacIntyre Hudson was listed at 16 in the Top 50+50 ranking in 2017.
