It’s Day Two of our reveal of the Top 35 under 35 in accountancy. Here are the next five individuals who have made the 2018 list.
30. Andrew Sullivan, Director, Numbers (UK) Ltd
Sullivan joined Numbers as a trainee and progressed through the company to his current role as director. He has led the firm’s digital transformation over the past four years and has assisted clients in streamlining their business processes through implementing software platforms.
Sullivan’s interest in technology has allowed him to develop a niche for forecasting and KPI reporting services to the client base and he has been part of Xero’s expert panel at a recent roadshow in Exeter.
29. Mark Edmondson, CEO, Inflo
Edmondson started his career on PwC’s fast-track program, leading audit and consulting engagements at the Big Four firm. He founded Inflo after spotting the opportunity to revolutionise accountancy with next-generation software, providing access to the latest software capabilities to firms outside of the Big Four. The platform automates hours of work accounting firms currently perform manually, freeing up time for client-focused activities. Moore Stephens announced a collaboration with Inflo at the end of last month.
28. Francis Moore, Associate Director, Moore Stephens LLP
Moore is an associate director in the Moore Stephens private client tax team. He works with high net-worth individuals, advising on a range of tax issues for individuals moving to the UK from the US or Europe. He played a significant part in the lead up to the changes in taxation of non-UK domiciled individuals, has liaised with global member firms to develop a summary of the tax situation in different jurisdictions, allowing clients to better understand their options, and has contributed to Moore Stephens’ consultation responses to a number of tax changes in recent years.
Moore is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights and is committed to corporate social responsibility, acting as a trustee for two charities helping in developing young people from deprived backgrounds.
27. Laura Adkins, Director, Whitley Stimpson Ltd
Adkins is director in charge of Whitley Stimpson’s Witney office and is responsible for the audit of the some of the firm’s largest corporate clients. She has taken a lead role in growing the business and developing, recognising and rewarding its people. She was made head of the Witney office following the firm’s merger with Morgan Harris and this year will move the team to newly refurbished offices, providing opportunity for future business growth.
She is a strong advocate for staff welfare and training and is responsible for training across Whitley Stimpson’s four offices.
26. Paul Jagger, Senior Manager, BDO LLP
Jagger became senior manager at BDO in May having been the go-to manager in the housing and education teams for the past three years in terms of delivering high-quality audit work and supporting the team’s growth strategy.
He has a large portfolio of clients and has received unanimous outstanding client feedback on his work. He has been fundamental to the rapid growth of the not-for-profit business within audit in housing and education, and has been a key contributor to winning in excess of £1m of future revenue for the firm.
