BDO appoints two partners from Big Four firms

Ian Oliver and Gavin Crawford will join the firm's audit practice in Reading

Top 10 firm BDO has appointed two new audit partners, both joining from Big Four firms. Ian Oliver and Gavin Crawford will join BDO’s Reading practice.

Oliver joins the firm following 24 years at EY, where he developed and led its life sciences practice in the Thames Valley. Oliver specialises in providing audit to high-growth businesses in the life sciences sector and has advised businesses in the technology and manufacturing.

Crawford joins the firm after 19 years at PwC, and specialises in advising fast-growth private, private equity-backed businesses and large international groups across various sectors including technology and healthcare.

BDO recently reported overall revenue growth of 5.7%, and audit services continued to be the biggest part of business, achieving revenue growth of 7.4% to £135.2m in the past year. BDO also continues to be the number one auditor for AIM companies.
