Paul Underwood has joined the firm’s Birmingham office. He previously led the national consulting service within finance and performance improvement at RSM.
At Mazars, Underwood will be responsible for growing the firm’s financial outsourcing offering, connecting with entrepreneurial businesses and SME clients.
UK head of accounting and outsourcing at Mazars Toby Stanbrook, said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul to our national team. His appointment reflects the firm’s continued commitment and investment in our growing Accounting and Outsourcing business. His experience will help our clients as they grow and develop their finance activities.”
Underwood commented: “I am really looking forward to working with Mazars, a leading name in the market. I am excited by the opportunity to work with such an ambitious team and look forward to further building our reputation with SME clients, with a particular focus on financial outsourcing.”
In June this year, the firm appointed a new corporate finance partner in its London office. A new executive team has been in place since 15 February.
