Two new hires for haysmacintyre’s tax team

Top 30 firm haysmacintyre has made two new appointments to its tax team.

Trevor D’Sa takes on the role of private client tax director and James Rolfe joins the team as senior business tax manager.

D’Sa was most recently head of private client tax at SRLV and has over 30 years’ experience providing tax advice across all disciplines. He said: “I am very much looking forward to adding my experience and skills to the strong team at haysmacintyre and maintaining their reputation for excellent service in a rapidly changing private client environment.”

Rolfe, previously corporate tax manager at BDO, specialises in advising corporates, specifically on making research and development claims for companies in the creative, media and technology sector. With nearly 20 years of experience under his belt, Rolfe said: “My skill set directly complements haysmacintyre’s growing creative, media and technology sector offering and I am pleased that I will be able to bring to bear my experience of making successful R&D claims for the benefit of their clients.”

Commenting on the appointments, head of tax at haysmacintyre Katharine Arthur added: “haysmacintyre provides for all the tax requirements of our corporate, not for profit and private clients, and with continuing changes to legislation and the tax framework and anticipating the impact of Making Tax Digital, our clients are relying on us more than ever. Trevor and James bring additional strength and experience to our tax team at a time of growth.”
