KPMG has been appointed with “immediate” effect as the auditor of Dorcaster.
The role has been scooped from the previous auditors, RSM UK, who resigned as the auditor of the company. Dorcaster is a listed investment vehicle.
The latest audit win for KPMG is less high profile than its most recent victory, that of Legal and General. The Big Four firm was named top listed company auditor in the autumn Adviser Rankings.
Audit changes have ramped up since it became clear that mandatory tendering and rotation would come into effect, which it did this summer.
