UHY Hacker Young appoints partner from EY

A senior manager from EY has been appointed at UHY Hacker Young as an audit partner.

Max Paterson has joined the Manchester office in the audit department for UHY Hacker Young after 12 years in EY’s audit team. Paterson has over 16 years’ experience in audit where he has managed clients with a focus on entrepreneurial, listed and international businesses.

Mike Wasinski, managing partner at UHY Hacker Young, Manchester, said: “We are very pleased to have added Max to the practice. He brings with him a wealth of expertise, enthusiasm and commerciality, and will be an excellent fit within our team.

Paterson will increase the audit offering and assist in the firm’s current rate of growth in the North West.

The news comes as UHY Hacker Young has appointed a new partner in its London office. The firm currently has over 100 partners across 27 locations across the UK.
