Mazars announces six new UK partners

MAZARS, the top ten accountancy firm, has announced six new partners in its UK practice.

The firm has promoted five partners and one partner transferred from Singapore, giving Mazars a total of 140 UK partners.

Phil Verity, Mazars’ UK senior partner said “Having a diverse and dynamic team of partners is essential to the ongoing success of our business. I am delighted to welcome this group of talented and dedicated individuals to the partnership, they all have a proven track record in their chosen areas.”

The appointments span a number of practices including audit, tax and outsourcing and reflect the firms’ ongoing investment in its core markets, including financial services and large corporates.

The new appointments in London consist of; Amanda Barker as the new partner for financial services audit, Stephen Brown for financial services tax, and Francois Monville, who transferred from Singapore, for the French inbound market. In Birmingham, the new partners are Louis Burns for external audit and Vesko Petkov for tax. Additionally, James Smalley became the new partner for outsourcing in Sutton.
