NEW PwC leader Kevin Ellis, who takes over as chairman and senior partner for the UK and Middle East from 1 July, has revealed his new UK executive board.

Commenting on his new leadership team, Kevin Ellis said: “I have selected a team which reflects the diverse range of skills, backgrounds and experience across our firm and a structure which keeps us focused on delivering the best of PwC to our clients while continuing to invest in our people, skills and technology – all of which are key to our future success.
“I am streamlining the executive board from 12 to seven people, to ensure an agile approach to talent, technology and market conditions. By creating a clients and markets executive with day to day responsibility for serving our clients, I am separating strategy and operations to respond to market opportunity and changes, while maintaining an unwavering focus on clients.”

Andrew Howson joins the firm from EY, bringing experience in advising private equity and corporate clients across multiple sectors in the UK and Europe
Dennis Layton takes up the position on April 1 and will contribute to the firm’s goal of becoming the leading global professional services organisation by 2020
Richard Cartwright becomes the new head, taking over from incumbent head of office David Lemon
Brian Burke, business development director, has moved within the firm to 'develop Quantuma’s networks with Sussex professional firms'
