Richard Crump promoted to editor, as Accountancy Age and Financial Director editorial team reorganised
A NEW EDITOR has been appointed across Accountancy Age and Financial Director, as part of a reshuffle in the editorial team.
Richard Crump, who has served as deputy editor across the two titles since 2012, is promoted to editor.
Current editor Kevin Reed is promoted to head of editorial, which will encompass Accountancy Age, Financial Director, Contentive’s existing online publications, and new launches within its business media division.
Editor Richard Crump said: “It’s wonderful to head up these prestigious titles with great heritage. It’s a fascinating time to be covering the markets, with audit, tax, insolvency, plus the role of the CFO, in the spotlight.”
“I’m delighted that Richard is stepping up to editor,” said Reed. “His promotion is well deserved and I’m sure he will drive both titles forward.”
Senior reporter Chris Warmoll will focus on writing features and interviews, and covering the insolvency market. Reporter Calum Fuller will cover audit, assurance and accounting standards, while new reporter Fraser Simpson will cover tax and technology.
“The changes are very positive news, and we expect 2016 will be an exciting year for us and our audiences,” Reed added.
