Co-founder of RNF Business Advisory named as Insolvency Practitioners Association's deputy vice-president
THE Insolvency Practitioners Association has chosen Ruth Duncan, a director and co-founder of RNF Business Advisory, as its next deputy vice-president.
Duncan, who launched RNF in 2013 with Filippa Connor, is expected to become IPA president in April 2017.
She entered the profession in the mid-1980s at the London office of Levy Gee after a period at the Insolvency Service and has worked in the London offices of Grant Thornton and Smith & Williamson.
“The IPA continues to play a pivotal role in widening the public’s knowledge and understanding of the work of insolvency practitioners; working with the professional bodies that shape policy and providing an ever-widening range of services to its membership to raise standards,” Duncan said.
“It is a real honour to be elected as deputy vice-president and I am delighted to be a part of this dialogue and look forward to contributing to the IPA’s future success.”
