TS thoroughly enjoyed being at ACCA’s AGM yesterday for an exercise in democracy that ultimately changed nothing.
The institute’s beautiful headquarters at Lincoln’s Inn Fields was abuzz with members catching up and discussing Anthony Thorne’s proposals on its governance.
One point related to ACCA’s impending move from Lincoln’s Inn to the Adelphi building just a few short minutes’ walk away.
When TS enquired as to what will become of the existing headquarters, one source admitted they weren’t sure, but noted a proliferation of JD Wetherspoons pubs in the area and their penchant for setting up in venerable old buildings.
