Kingston Smith & Partners appoints licensed IP
IP specialising in investigations and contentious insolvencies joins Kingston Smith & Partners
A NEW insolvency practitioner has joined Kingston Smith & Partners, the corporate recovery and insolvency arm of top 20 accountancy firm Kingston Smith.
Chris Purkiss joins the firm from Baker Tilly, where he spent five years as a manager in the special investigation team of its restructuring and recovery practice having previously worked at Mazars and Grant Thornton.
He joins the forensic insolvency recovery service team and brings with him 15 years’ experience in corporate and personal insolvency, specialising in investigations and contentious insolvencies, including liquidations that involved investigations into the affairs of companies, litigation against directors, asset tracing and pursuit of antecedent transactions
According to the latest Accountancy Age Top 50+50, insolvency fees at Kingston Smith grew 17% in the last year to £3m.
