Iris acquires HR and payroll provider

IRIS has agreed to acquire provider of HR and payroll services Cascade.

Cascade specialises in HR software and HM Revenue & Customs-recognised payroll software. In particular, its software deals with HR, payroll, training, recruitment, workflow, pension auto-enrolment, timesheets and expenses. Cascade has over 530 clients.

The company was founded in 1992 and has experienced rapid growth since 2005, and it is expected Iris will integrate Cascade’s HR function with its payroll and bookkeeping applications.

Cascade founder and managing director Alan Jones said: “We are very excited to join forces with IRIS which we have known and respected for many years. It’s the natural next step in Cascade’s evolution, allowing us access to a whole range of resources, skills and ideas as well as the extensive IRIS client base.”
