Iris relaunches KashFlow with new accounting practice offering

IRIS HAS RELAUNCHED cloud-based accountancy software KashFlow, six months after acquiring the business.

The relaunch sees KashFlow compatible online across all smart mobile devices, without the need to download apps. The combined subscriber base of the businesses comes to 60,000, of which 15,500 are accountancy firms.

Three editions of the software have been developed, with each available for free trial. The software will also allow free use of Iris KashFlow Connect, which affords real-time collaboration between accountant and client, while it will also integrate with other Iris software.

Iris is also launching a accountancy firm partner programme alongside its Connect offering. The programme includes marketing and training for partners.

KashFlow is to be the fulcrum of Iris’ offering to the SME market, with the Iris OpenPayroll packaged with the KashFlow Business & Payroll offering.

KashFlow was founded in 2006 and has since grown to serve around 30,000 small businesses.

CEO of Iris Software Group Phill Robinson (pictured) said: “KashFlow provides accountants access to all the information required to become a client’s virtual finance director. By minimising the time required on number crunching and compliance, an accountant can focus their expertise on senior consultancy and strategic planning. We want to help accountants add value to their customers with this launch, while also providing them with the tools and support to encourage SMEs to change the way they manage their accounts.
