Jim Grover joins KPMG as a senior adviser to its consumer markets team
FORMER Diageo strategy director Jim Grover has joined KPMG as a senior adviser to its consumer markets team.
Grover has served a s a member of Diageo’s executive committee since its formation, following the merger of Grand Metropolitan and Guinness in 1997. He had spent 12 years in consulting previously, with Booz Allen Hamilton and then as a partner at OC&C Strategy Consultants. His consulting expertise mostly comes in consumer goods companies.
Liz Claydon, head of consumer markets at KPMG, said: “I am delighted that Jim is joining the firm. We have been investing significantly in both our consumer and strategy practices over the past few years, which is translating into some fantastic client wins, notably the recent Unilever audit. Our ability to attract someone as experienced and talented as Jim to KPMG demonstrates both our success and commitment to the consumer goods sector.”
Grover said that the sector was “exciting”, with a mix of challenges and opportunities ahead.
