BIG FOUR rivals KPMG and EY are to merge their Denmark operations.
EY Denmark and KPMG Denmark have announced the signing of an agreement to combine operations. The proposed combined firm will operate under the EY name and be part of EY’s Nordics region.
The combination is subject to regulatory approval by the relevant competition authorities. Until all conditions are met and the necessary regulatory approvals are received, it will be business as usual for both organizations.
“This agreement draws on the complementary strengths of EY and KPMG Denmark,” said Erik Mamelund, regional managing partner for EY Nordics. “Until regulatory approval is obtained it would be premature to say anything further.”
