Christopher Humphrey expands portfolio with software company non-executive role
THE CIMA-QUALIFIED CEO of software company Anite has been handed a non-executive director post with Vitec, which provides products and services in broadcast & video; photographic; and military, aerospace and government markets.
Christopher Humphrey is a fellow of CIMA and has been chief executive of Anite since 2008. Prior to that, he served at group finance director from 2003. He has held senior positions in finance at Conoco, Eurotherm International and Critchley Group. He held a non-executive directorship with Alterian between 2011 and 2012.
The appointment becomes effective from 1 December.
He will sit on the audit, remuneration and nominations committees.
Vitec Chairman John McDonagh said Humphrey’s appointment “…bring[s] important skills and international experience and broaden[s] diversity on the board at this important time in the development of Vitec.”
