Quarterly Adviser Rankings auditor chart, sees KPMG moving up through the charts
KPMG HAS MOVED up the auditor rankings ladder according to latest Adviser Rankings quarterly statistics.
The Big Four firm has moved up to third from fourth in terms of client market cap for AIM 100 clients, with Grant Thornton slipping one place to fourth, while PwC and Deloitte hold onto the first and second spots respectively.
EY fell one place to fourth after it lost two clients in the AIM 100 no. clients listing. However, Deloitte gained one clients which allowed it to move up to third from fourth. PwC came first with 26 clients, up from 22 last quarter.
KPMG also managed to take second place in the AIM UK 50 clients, up from its fourth spot in the last quarter, it shares this spot with Deloitte. However, EY moved down to fourth from third and PwC leads the way with 15 clients having had 13 last quarter.
Adviser Rankings has also ranked the auditors in terms of sector, with BDO continuing its rein as top auditor in consumer goods clients, although GT and PwC are joint first place alongside it. KPMG has topped the listing for financial clients, followed by PwC, then BDO, GT and EY.
In terms of total AIM clients, BDO are top of the list followed by Grant Thronton, KPMG and PwC. Chantrey Vellacott managed to climb one place to 12 after obtaining two clients, however, RSM Tenon fell to 16 from 14 after it lost one client.
