Voters currently against the proposal for mandatory quotas to place women into senior roles
CURRENT VOTING is against the introduction of quotas to bring more women into senior roles, as the latest Accountancy Age Debate enters its third day.
The proposal by TUC general secretary Frances O’Grady, that ‘mandatory targets are essential to place more women into senior roles’, is currently backed by 23% of the voters.
Opposing O’Grady is KPMG partner Melanie Richards. The two main protagonists in the Debate have, this morning, issued their rebuttals to each other’s original arguments.
