KPMG has appointed indirect tax litigation partner Amanda Brown as head of overall tax litigation as part of a department reshuffle at the Big Four firm.
Brown will take the reins of the practice, with Boaz Goren – formerly of PwC Legal – and Robert Hartley – previously at law practice DLA Piper – joining the firm as they take on private client and corporate taxation roles respectively.
Hilary Waters, who was promoted to director at KPMG in the UK in 2011, will take on much of the indirect tax case load.
