Ex-AngloGold CFO takes non-exec position at Goldstone
CIMA-qualified Jonathan Best takes on another non-exec role
THE FORMER CFO of gold mining business AngloGold Ashanti has taken a non-executive role at rival Goldstone Resources.
Jonathan Best joins AIM quoted gold exploration business Goldstone as a non-executive director.
CIMA-qualified Best was CFO of AngloGold Ashanti for eight years to 2005 but has been a director of the business, then trading as Vaal Reefs, since 1994.
He remains a non-executive director at AngloGold Ashanti and is chairman of the audit committee and member of the remuneration committee at Russian-based mining business PolyMetal International.
