70% of accountants looking for a new job
Accountancy Age poll finds seven out of ten will seek work outside their current employers in 2011
SEVEN out of ten accountants will be looking for a new job this year, with nearly half expecting to leave their current place of employment, according to an Accountancy Age survey.
Our latest poll results show that of the hundreds of respondents, 70% will be looking to leave their workplace in 2011.
With many businesses now back on the recruiting track, 45% of those who voted said they expect to be in a new job at a new company by the start of 2012, while another 25% say they are looking to leave but unsure of the prospects of finding employment elsewhere.
Just 30% indicated that they are happy to remain in their current business for at least another year.
