BRENDAN NELSON, a non-executive director at RBS bank and a former executive at KPMG UK, has been nominated as vice president of ICAS.
The nomination means that Nelson, who also chairs the group audit committee at RBS, is set to become ICAS president in 2013, succeeding Sir David Tweedie.
Nelson is also a non-executive director of BP, where he sits on the chairman’s and the audit committees.
Before his non-executive roles, Nelson was vice chairman of KPMG UK, where he was also global chairman of the banking and financial services networks of KPMG International.
