    ADMINISTRATORS from PwC have been called in at two coach holiday companies after harsh trading conditions hit the sector.

    D. Coaches (trading as Diamond Holidays) and Brian Isaac Coaches suspended business operations after Roger Hale and Rob Lewis were appointed administrators and no further holiday or day trips will leave until options for the future of the business have been explored.

    “The companies have suffered as a result of the ongoing economic challenges facing this particular segment of the travel and hospitality sector, including increased fuel and other costs, which resulted in difficult trading conditions,” said Hale.

    The companies’ combined turnover was £10.8m and employed 86 people.
